Opinions Please?

I know I posted before asking for opinions on where to get engagement pictures done; I've now narrowed it down to two different choices. For those that don't know the places I'm talking about, click on the choice to see a picture.

1) The line-up of rusty trucks in Crawfordville: I like this idea because Caleb and I both like cars and he is a NASCAR mechanic.However, Caleb was wanting "nicer" looking pictures and I'm also wondering if we would be limited in the kinds of pictures we could take with the trucks.

2) Maclay Gardens:At first I was pretty much against the idea of having our pictures done at Maclay Gardens because many people do; Caleb's brother & sister-in-law had theirs out there too. Lately though that doesn't really bother me. I think there would be more that we could do at Maclay picture-wise. Also, it doesn't hurt that the park is very pretty and Caleb could have his "nicer" looking pictures.

I think I may have already made up my mind, but I've always been one that likes to hear the opinions of others.

    I think the rusty trucks idea is cute. This is the first time I have seen Crawfordville on this message board and I got super excited because that is where I spent the first 18 years of my life and where I was originally planning on getting married. If your photog is willing to make extra stops, you could also take pics at azalea park, they have gazebos and the park itself is cute. There are plenty of places in Crawfordville you could take pictures along with the old truck pictures if you wanted to do something like that. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions. Smile

    I wish we could, but the two locations are about 45 minutes apart from each other. Our engagement photo session is only 1 hour.

    You could do Maclay Gardens and then maybe go over to the railroad for some rustic looking pictures.  They're not terribly far from each other.  No where near as far away as Crawfordville.

    This time of year though, Maclay Gardens isn't going to be as pretty as it normally is.  None of the flowers are going to be blooming.

    One of my co-workers just suggested doing pictures with the trucks, then going to Wakulla Springs State Park for more pictures. I'm thinking it's about 10-15 minutes between the two places.

    Does that sound like a correct time estimate Tallahassee brides?

    I'm a little late to this but I really love the truck idea. It's much more unique. If the other park works out timewise (I'm not in Tally so I have no idea) that seems like a good compromise.

    Well, I finally got a hold of Caleb today and we talked about the different options and decided that we'd go ahead and have the pictures done at Maclay Gardens since it is closer to home and we'd be able to get lots of different looking pictures.
