Cardsandpockets.com?

Anyone out there using this site to do your own invites? I ordered samples and absolutely love the quality of everything. Now my only other concerns are... 1) When you order the mats, invites, and inserts, do they come pre-cut or will i still have to measure and cut that stuff? 2) How do you create your design to take to a printer? 3) Same thing for the envelopes and RSVPs Has anyone already done this? I'm so not crafty but if there's a "invites for dummies" book I'd love it! Our alternative is a quote that's about $800 which I'd rather put towards our honeymoon TIA Sarah

hi sarah, i just ordered all of my stuff today. we bought paper in bulk and are just going to cut it ourselves. Ive heard from a few other people on the boards that the pre cut paper is harder use with your own printer but i dont know for sure because i never tried it. You should be able to just create your design on word and save it on a flash drive and take it to you local printer and they can just print it off that. I havent done it yet, but someone told me to save it as a pdf file so that when the printer prints it out, the color and size is the exact same.Hope that helps!good luck!

I just created my invitations based off a sample I liked online.  I'm planning on taking them to alphagraphics to print, and then cutting them myself.  I can send you my mock up if you would like.  Email me at raholbrook2 at gmail.com

You can also post on the DIY board.  Lots of knotties have made their own pocketfolds.  They have tons of pictures :)
