Newly Engaged Northern Az Bride to Be

Hey all! BK and I got engaged on Christmas morning (cliche, I know). While we haven't nailed down a specific date, we are thinking either Nov 10 or 17, 2012. Ideally, we would love to get married outdoors in Northern Arizona with 100 guests max. we have a few ideas, but any feedback about any location would be nice. Does any one have any positive experiences with venues in N. AZ and be willing to share general info about the location?

If it helps we are looking for a location that we can have both reception and ceremony at and is easily accessbile to out of town guests.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Congrats!

I'm getting married at the Sedona Golf Resort. I loved the location b/c we can have ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all there. The ceremony area has beautiful red rock views, and the reception area has floor to ceiling windows showing off the view, too.

I would also highly recommend our photographers- www.sierrablancophotographers.com. They do a lot of work in northern az- they used to live in Flag- so if you check out their website/blog you might find pics of sites you like.

We are currently living in Flagstaff. I am open to most ideas just not anywhere too remote considering most of my family is coming from out of state.

Sedona might be a perfect option for you.  It's not far from Phoenix so those who have to fly into Sky Harbor won't have quite as far to go as they would for Flagstaff.  Plus, you really can't get a more beautiful setting.

    Thanks for all the input.

I was hoping for specific venue suggestions. Searching previous posts has been hard and uninformative.

Hi Congratulations and welcome.  I went to a wedding at Little America years ago and it was very nice back then (10 years ago). I agree with the previous poster....Sedona could be a wonderful otion for you.  I am getting married their at L'Auberge.  Most popular in Sedona seem to be, Sedona Golf Resort, Agave, Los Abrigatos and L'Auberge.  Most will depend on your group size and budget.  I went to a lot of venues in Sedona so, if you can be more specific on the area you want (flagstaff or ? ) and how many people you are expecting Im sure some knotties can help more.

Hope to hear from you again.

I've been planning my Sedona wedding. We are having our reception At Agave of Sedona and our ceremony at Red rock crossing.  To have the reception and ceremony together I would recommend Los Abrigadon or Amara. Both Very pretty with creek side ceremonys. Good luck and Congrats!
