WTB officiant!

I'm looking for an officiant who won't object too strenuously to marrying an atheist to a lapsed Catholic.  FI would prefer someone who is ordained through a real church (not the Internet) and at least nominally Christian.  He was raised Catholic and wants to acknowledge his family's traditions, even though I've vetoed a full-on Catholic wedding and am uninterested (and, as far as I know, ineligible) to partake in any sacraments.

So...  Recommendations?  ^.^

We are using Phil Waring with AZ Ministers.  He is SO nice (and funny!) and his wife Gwen (who we do most of our correspondence with) is lovely as well.  Phil is a retired minister.  Phil and Gwen's bios are on their website: www.azministers.com.  Their prices are also on there, which I found to be very useful.  We have tailored our secular ceremony to be exactly what we want.  Phil told us from the get-go that our ceremony can be as religious or non-religious as we choose.  Like I said, he is very nice, and he even came to meet us all the way across town twice now!  Even though we haven't had our wedding yet, I definitely recommend him!

I don't really know anyone who fits this bill, but you could check weddingwire for reviews.

Another idea- my cousin and her husband, who are both agnostic, were just married and hated the idea of having a random minister marry them. Eventually they ended up enlisting a very close family friend get ordained and marry them. The ceremony was so touching and very personal. It seems odd, but after being part of that wedding I would recommend doing that to anyone! If we didn't have a pastor that we are very close with I would seriously consider this.

I hope this doesn't sound like I think using an officiant is a bad idea. I certainly don't, they know what they are doing! Regardless it will be the most special and important day. Just thought I'd share the experience :)

My fiance and I are having Reverand Crystal Lloyd officiate our wedding! Her website, www.ceremoniesbycrystal.com has prices and a few samples of ready-to-go vows and readings but she is able to customize them as well to fit into you and your fiance's different views. My fiance and I are not religious at all and she is completely understanding and not at all judgemental!

I second Phil Waring, he is great.  He did not marry us, but he actually baptized me, he was booked on our wedding day or I would have booked him in a second!

    Similar situation here -

We are using Pastor Mark Faul.  He was ordained in the Non-Denominational Christian Church. He has a degree in Biblical but also a degree in Counseling Psychology.  Really nice guy who wants the day to reflect us and nothing more.  website -

We had Rev Giovanni and he was awesome! He acutally is a former Catholic preist who left the preisthood to marry. He lets you pick your ceramony peice by peice, which does include some traditional Catholic parts. This was perfect since my husband and I are both fallen away Catholics (me way more than him), but my parents are practicing.

Everyone at the ceramony commented on how awesome Rev Giovanni was and how he expertly weaved humor in to help us relax. His fee is only $200, which is the best that I had found. His website is http://www.revgiovanni.com and he's at most bridal shows around town.
