Recommendations please

Hi

Haven't lived in Phoenix too long and I need some recommendations!

I bought my dress in Missouri while shopping with my mom and sisters and am having it shipped to Phoenix. I need to find a great place to do alterations. I live in the Chandler/Gilbert area but work in the Arcadia area of Phoenix so I'm willing to travel for someone great!

Also looking for a great aesthician and someplace to go for waxing.

Hi! I know a few aestheticians, but they might be out of your way.

Monique at Salon Esprit is who I go to for my eyebrow waxing. She is AMAZING! it's at 67th ave and Happy Valley.

Another is Louise at the Red Door Spa at the Wigwam. This one might be kind of pricey, I'm not too sure, but Louise is great.

Finally, there is Esmeralda at Lavenders Day Spa in Litchfield Park. She's fantastic, as well.

As for the alterations, I'm not at the point yet, so I don't know of any good ones. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I hear that Janet Kirkland is referred a lot for alterations - I'm sure someone will chime in on her contact info.  She's in Scottsdale.

I'm in Chandler and go to Epic Salon (Yvette) for waxing - been going to her for a while and think its pretty reasonably priced

Guess I would usually go to Dolce for facials...interested in seeing if anyone has other recommendations for that though

I know that Monique is great my daughter also goes to her. She also works for Salon Esprit. And for alterations Janet is highly recommended she will be having her dress done by her

Salon Amore in downtown Gilbert does waxing, I get my eyebrows done there when I'm down there visiting my parents...

for alterations I would say to go with Michele from Vinty Thriftage she did my dress and was absolutely fabuilous - and has the best prices I had found anywhere. she also hemmed/altered 4 of my bridesmaids dresses and they LOVED what she did (she even had to get creatie with lengthening one for me.

I get my hair done here and my manicures all the time.  I have not done waxing yet, but plan to for the wedding.  I will most likely give it a trial run prior to the wedding.
