Need a very INexpensive wedding dress..

I've got an interesting request - I LOVE my gown, and LOVE the idea of doing a trash the dress photo shoot after the wedding....however, I don't love the idea of actually trashing my fab dress. Sooo, I'm thinking of getting a 'spare'...just for the photo shoot. It doesn't need to be something insanely great - just something that can look good on film and withstand a real trash the dress session....till the session is over Any ideas? I was thinking of checking out the $99 sale at David's....but anyone got any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

No other ideas but I love yours! I wanted to do a trash the dress too but could not bare the thought of trashing my beautiful gown! I would assume the $99 sale or a sample sale.

Thanks! Yeah....I put the dress on again today and thought "nope.....no way I could intentionally get this dirty! LOL - but definitely want to do a TTD.....so I'll check out David's and any sample sales I hear of.

There is a "My Sister's Closet" in the Chandler area (Alma School & Queen Creek) that has 2nd hand wedding dresses. I'm not sure if they would be cheaper than $99 ... but it could be worth a shot.  Hope this helps!

Thanks ladies! These are all great ideas! Oh, and I'm a size 6 or 8 in regular clothes - my wedding dress is a size 8.

Also you'd be suprised how many dresses are on sale on craigslist Worth a shot....

Yeah, there's a ton on CL...  including one from me.  LOL   The one I have is a 14 though, so it won't help you much.

FYI, I just stopped at My Sister's Closet on Friday and they've gotten rid of all of their bridal gowns - they won't be dealing with them anymore.  I've got the contact info for the gal in Tucson who bought them all if anyone needs it.

I got my dress at Almond Tree Wedding Boutique, veryyyy reasonable and Pam is so nice.
