Akron Photographers???

So I have found 2 photojournalistic type photographers who are based out of Cleveland and before I set up an appt with them I was hoping to find an Akron based photographer so check out.. I like supporting local vendors and I live in Akron. Any ideas???

    Do you mean downtown Akron or the greater Akron area? Tami Musick (Tami's Take on Photography) is based in Streetsboro. She does nice work. Also, Felicia Lewis (FML Photo Design), I believe, is based in or near Fairlawn.

    Try Elizabeth Pruitt Photography. Her style is very photojournalistic and she's excellent at capturing emotions. Not sure if she's located in Akron, though.

    I'm getting married in Cleveland, but ended up going with Ken Love, who's out of Copley. His photos are stunning. When we met with him, he showed us some pics from the wedding he shot the night before and we loved them. He's also really easy to talk to -- I'm looking forward to working with him. www.kenlovephotography.com

    In my experience Ken Love is a little full of himself.

    Andrew Jordan is amazing - he has a new studio in Hudson and he was the best!!  Our photos were beautiful and everything we were looking for.  Check him out!

    Check out Imagen Photography. They are halfway between Akron & Cleveland, in Northfield. They were the Fox 8 Hotlist Winners for 2009 as Best Photographers. Let them know that Jen & Mike sent you!

    Shane Wynn does AMAZING work. I've had the privlege of working with her on a freelance basis for the magazine I work for, and she is also an extremely nice, fun person. And her husband is a filmmaker who I think you can hire to do videography as well. Her website is www.shanewynn.com

    Leah Stafford is based out of the Canton/Akron area. She did an excellent job with our wedding photographs.

    OH gosh so many great photographers in the area! I am going to meet with RAD photographers and Ken Blaze  (Story of the Day) but I also love Shane Wynns work and Genevieve Nisly's.. gosh how does one choose??? and yes, Ken Love's email was kinda cocky so I disregarded him. its all about if you are going to click

    Larry Spencer of Spencer Photography did my daughter's wedding. He does beautiful work! You can't go wrong with Larry!

    I may be a little late on my post, but we are using Catherine McKinley. She actually works out of Akron. She is amazing, she is my favorite vendor to work with! Our photographer was very important to us and she was the perfect choice. She is so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable.
