Power Ranch (The Barn or Clubhouse)?

I keep thearing from friends who know people who've gotten married at the Power Ranch community Clubhouse or "The Barn" at power ranch that is it affordable, beautiful and I can bring my own food/alocohol etc (very important for us and our budget :)).  I called but it's Sunday :( I left a message...I figured I'd post here to see if anyone knows anything about these venues- I think Clubhouse is the smaller of the two but not sure.  I saw a few pics, it looks gorgeous....anyone know how much these actually are to rent?  Any details at all?  I'm sure someone wil call me back BUT it'd be great if I has some info beforehand :)

I just found out you need to be a resident of the Power Ranch community to rent these locations.  Although my friends assured me the people who've recently married there are not.  BUMMER!  It's pretty, the price is right and we can bring our own stuff. Sad face.

I would still ask them and/or try and negeotiate it.  I looked at a venue that you supposedly had to be a member of, but you really didn't and they did not even charge more for non-members.  Some places are not as strick, especially in this economy.  Worth a shot if you really like it, the worst they can say is no!

I  am having my wedding at the Barn at Power Ranch next April and when
signing my contract it had never mentioned having to be a resident.  I do live in Power Ranch, but it never specified residency.. Also, all of our community programs such as group workouts and associations include people from other neighborhoods.  If you haven't booked somewhere else already..You should contact Heather - the lifestyle director..
    Good luck! Smile

I just came across this post.  I was looking into having my wedding reception at the Clubhouse.  It's so pretty!  I can't seem to find who to contact.  Also, what is the pricing like for either one, the clubhouse or the barn?

I know this is quite an old message board but does anyone know the contact information for the barn@power ranch? I haven't been able to track down a phone number.

    Thanks!

I am a resident and I called about doing a wedding for a friend a couple years ago and they turned me down. Heather told me they changed it to residents only because too many non-residents were taking up the dates and residents weren't able to get 1st choice. Hopefully you can negotiate. Here's the info:

"Please note, that the Power Ranch facilities can only be rented by Power Ranch residents, and the Association asks that Power Ranch residents not rent out the facility for non-Power Ranch residents.

The Barn at Power Ranch has approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of working space, as well as 2 restrooms, a 9,000 sq. ft. Event Lawn and a 450 sq. ft. Kitchen. The Kitchen has 3 ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, sink, refrigerator/freezer, and coffee pot upon request. There are 200 available chairs and 30 tables (2.5 ft. by 6 ft.). The overall capacity of the Barn is 202 people, but the Association restricts that maximum capacity to 150 people if the event is using tables.

There is a $500 refundable deposit for the Barn, barring any damages to the facility during the proposed rental. The facility can be rented for any duration of time between the hours of 8am and 11pm, Monday thru Saturday, and 8am to 10pm, on Sundays. The rental fee is $75 per hour and must include set-up time, the duration of the event and clean-up time.

To reserve either facility, you can contact Heather Roberts directly at 480-988-0960. Upon placing your request on the calendar you will have one week to secure an appointment to complete the contractual agreement; at which time the refundable deposit will be due. Any remaining fees will be due at least 1 month prior to the date of the event unless otherwise notified. Please feel free to contact Heather Roberts at 480-988-0960 with any other questions.

Good luck! It is a beautiful facility!
