DuPage County Marriage License

I can't remember what our officiant said. Do we have to request a copy or do they send us one after the officiant send it in? We got married September 6th and still don't have a copy of our marriage license. DH is going to e-mail the officiant since he was the one that dealt with the officiant. I looked on the DuPage county clerk's site and I can't find anything about it.

Not sure about DuPage county specifically, but I know for Cook county you need to go in and request a copy of your Marriage Certificate after the wedding - it is not just automatically sent.

THANK YOU! DH was convinced we didn't need to do this, but I told him I wasn't sure about that since I knew in Cook you have to request it. I must be blind, I couldn't find the info on their web site when I looked, and I have looked a few times ahahhaha
