NWR: Any Chicago Marathon Runners Out There?

Do we have any Chicago Knotties running the marathon on Sunday?I'll be out there cheering for my fiance, Mark! I don't know how the human body can sustain all of the training and beating of a marathon. I give everyone TONS of credit who has taken on this incredible challenge, and wish only the best of luck to all!!!

Nope, but I'm training for a half marathon in Kansas in April!  I'm also doing a 5K with my sister in Frankfort on Saturday.Congrats to your FI.  Marathon training is intense--training for my half is scary enough, I can't imagine DOUBLING that!

I'll be out there cheering - my mom's best friend's husband is running and so are a few friends of mine.  It's crazy...I just did the Chicago half marathon in September, and THAT was intense (those last two miles were killer).  It really helped to have people out there supporting you and cheering you on, so I will definitely do the same!

I hate running. Always have.That said, I like watching the marathon. Our condo is right on the route, so we'll be out there watching.go knotties! (should that be a sign?)

No but I also did the Chicago Rock and Roll Half marathon and it was just so difficult. I can't imagine doing a full marathon.  Good luck to him
