Victoria Banquets - Schiller Park

Has anyone ever gotten married at Victoria Banquets in Schiller Park? Are they more pricey then other banquet halls or about average? Any info would be great!
Thanks!

We're having our reception at their Rosemont ballroom. I thought their prices were about on par with other venues we were looking at (mostly hotels around the airport), but the perks included seemed to go above and beyond -- especially the option where the guests choose their dinner the night of the wedding. (I'm amazed they can pull that off!) We're still over a year out from the wedding, but so far we have no complaints, and we're excited about our choice.

Also, FI's cousin had her reception at the Schiller Park location a few years back, and he remembers it being nice.

Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

I'm also having my reception at the Rosemont location. The last post is right about the perks. They are very customer service driven and friendly. You really can build your own menu to fit you budget. I think they went as cheap as $50 a plate to expensive as the market price of lobster, so a nice wide range. They also include a 6 hour bar, whereas everyone else I saw only had 4

Thanks for the feedback!!! I kind of would like to look at the Rosemont location instead of the Beau Jolie I was first looking at. I didn't notice the Rosemont location had a hotel attachted and I will be having a lot of out of town guest!

I am too which is why I liked the Rosemont location. For those driving, it's right by the highway. Then if you have people flying in they can get a free shuttle between the airport and hotel. They can also check in for their departing flight and print a boarding pass in the hotel lobby.

The Victoria and the Holiday Inn Express are 2 different businesses, and we've had 2 different expierences. The Victoria people are awesome, all about customer service and friendly. While the Holiday Inn Express staff is slow getting responding, keeps messing up my name, and is ripping us off in their first round of quotes for the hotel block. They are definately trying to upcharge us. My finace and Julie from Victoria are working on this right now. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!

msmyrnio, we haven't started looking into the hotel block yet, so this is good info -- thanks for the heads up! Glad to hear that Julie's got your back.

I'm having my wedding there in August and the staff there are awesome!!! They do accomodate YOU, the bride. I have nothing but great things to say about that place and it looks gorgeous at night with the lights from the runway. They cater to what you want as opposed to having it at a hotel banquet hall where they just gave me the run around. Hope this helps!
