Wedding Hair and Makeup Recommendations

So, I was super excited to have my Bridal hair trail yesterday . . . only to be stood-up my the hair stylist I hired.  I am no longer comfortable using him, or his team, for my wedding so now I am on the hunt for some recommendations.

My wedding is April 16th (only 33 days away) so I am really stressed out trying to find a team so quickly.  The team I originally hired was going to come to my home (in Logan Sqaure) and do the hair and makeup for 7 women.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any help is SO appreciated!

    I am using total image bridal for mine. They are based out of Lombard but they do travel and the more people you have, the better the price. I had my trial with them and loved it. I came in with no expectations and was blown away. I'm not sure about their price for traveling to you because I live 5 minutes away.

    Check out Sharon Daniel Salon in Schaumburg. They're very well known for bridal and travel to wherever you want to get ready. They may be booked being so close to the wedding date, but it's definitely worth a try! Lots of brides on these boards have used them, including myself and my best friend, and had GREAT experiences. GL!!

    I am also looking for someone for on location but makeup only.  What do you think is a decent price for bridesmaids?  I have been finding alot of places quoting $65 per bridesmaid and that seems kind of pricey for just makeup.

    I'm using Claudia for hair and Rebecca for makeup. I was very pleased with how my hair and makeup trial turned out.


    edit to add: cressent, I am paying $85 for my maids, but it's for airbrushing. I found most makeup artists were $65-125 per person overall for airbrushing.

    Ditto this. My BM's are paying $85 for airbrush.

    $65 is the average, and even on the low end, for BM makeup that I found for my wedding.

    We used Cynthia Sally .. Loved her airbrush make up! Check her out, her prices have gone up. I hired her a year before our wedding so I got 09 pricing...but I loved her work. I believe she has folks that do hair as well.

    They will travel whereever. It's $75 for BM and $175 for Bride, including your trial. Don't stress too much, I didn't have my trials until a few weeks ago and my wedding is next weekend. April is still considered off-season for Chicago and you shouldn't have any issues finding a good stylist/artist.

    I'm using my regular stylist, but she's trying to get develop a wedding side business for hair.  Her rates were reasonable and she's coming to Winnetka for our wedding in September.  The name of her company is London's Page.  I will PM you her number if you are interested.

    Makeup -Kimmay Nather Beatuy by Brush 630-788-4222.  Makeup is aprox $50/bridesmaid for airbrush...Kim is amazing and so awesome to work with.  It's worth paying a little extra for someone like Kim - amazing and so trustworthy.  She will go out of her way for you!

    Hair - Liv Carpole...I had my hair trial the other day and she mentioned that she does have a few openings in the next few months - she never know she may be open on the 16th.

     I absolutely LOVE Tamara Makeup + Hair Artistry! I have had my makeup and hair done by them for several different weddings I've been in..and I have booked them for my own wedding coming up! Everyone is extremely talented..I highly recommend Cristina and Melanie..they were incredible. Check out the website..its tamaramakeup.com. You wont be disappointed.
