NWR (Semi-XP): Need positive knottie vibes...

FI went to look at a house today that I found listed online (I had to work, so I couldn't go) and said it's exactly what we've been looking for, so he submitted an offer. We should know by this weekend whether they are going to accept it or not...

Pleeeease send positive knottie vibes our way! It's a big step (as if getting engaged isn't, haha) and this house is not only in our price range, but exactly what we've been looking for (1.5 bath w/ finished basement & fenced yard)!

    There's a family friend that is acting as our agent... FI has never actually met her until today, but it's his uncle's best friend's mom (uncle is also a real estate appraiser).

    Thanks so much ladies!! I don't know where else to have an "outlet" for all of my nerves about this. My mom keeps saying "if it's meant to be, it will be" and FI is just as nervous as I am, so I don't want to keep bugging him with things.

    The house went on the market Monday, and our offer yesterday was already the 3rd they've received... but the realtor feels as though the other two were likely low-ball offers. We offered only $5k less than asking price as the initial offer. It definitely needs some work (it's a foreclosure), BUT it has potential to be a life-long home.

    My stomach is in knots!!
