Hair & Makeup on Maui

Hi,

We are getting married in Maui in August.  I want to wear my hair 1/2 up.  I am also looking to have very natural make-up.  I don't wear much make-up on a daily basis so I want to keep it natural & minimal on the wedding day.  My coordinator uses H&M people that are $250 total & they come to my condo.  I want to know if that is normal or is that considered pretty expensive??  Of course, I would rather pay less (so I can stay within budget).

What H&M people have you used?  What was the cost?  Were you happy??

Most of us have or will be using Dan and Jessica to do our hair and make-up.  $250 is a very good price.  I know I am paying more than that.

For our wedding I'm paying $160 for hair, and then I'm going to buy my own makeup (after a makeover and instructional at sephora) and do it myself.

Shelley at Mariah's Mane did my hair, and my mom's hair and makeup.  A close friend who's a makeup artist did my makeup.  Shelley was great, and I love how she styled my hair, which I wore 1/2 up, 1/2 down.  Pics and review in bio.  I think it was $150 for my hair plus my mom's hair (she did mom's makeup gratis).

I used Karine Cummings and loved my hair and make up. It was about the same price, I think a little cheaper. It's very convenient to have them come to you though!

Jessica and Dan are amazing... especially Jess! She works with Shelley often too, so maybe you could see how much they cost as a duo?
