We bought for 50, and consumed almost all of it, except the gin and beer. I would recommend buying more if you have heavy drinkers. We were really surprised at how much people went through. With Costco, you can always return if you over buy. Off the top of my head, here's what I remember buying:
2 bottles Cruzan pineapple rum 1.75L vodka 13 bottles of white wine 13 bottles of red wine 15 bottles of bubbly 2 cases of beer 1 large handle of gin 1 bottle single malt 4 cases Wailua soda 2 cases bottled water
We had 36 people and bought all our alcohol at costco too, but we ended up with way too much and not enough time to return stuff. (we just left it for the homeowner and handed out beer to our party rental guys when they came to pick up stuff). I used an online alcohol calculator. I think we had:
I'm all about the evite calculator! We had 31 guests, wine, beer and 3 signature drinks (lilikoi mojitos, lychee bellinis, pear-ginger sake-tini), about 20 of which were drinkers of any sort.
We bought:
8 bottles red wine 8 bottles white wine 8 bottles sparkling wine 60 bottles beer 2 bottles rum (we actually went through 3, because we used our caterer's backup!) 1 bottle sake 1 bottle ginger vodka
I'd definitely recommend Bevmo's b/c my husband used to work there & we used their calculator for our estimates & had plenty of beer & booze left over to return. & we had pretty good drinkers (46 of us).
