Hard Rock in Maui

Hi there.  I am still trying to find a restaurant location for our reception and got a quote from the Hard Rock that looked pretty good. I love the idea of having "normal food" and the fun atnmospher with the music would eliminate the need for a band or DJ.  We are only expecting about 30-40 people to attend.

Has anybody had any good or bad experiences with having a reception at the Hard Rock?

    No reception, but I have been to the Hard Rock in Maui.  The location is so/so, you are about a block from the water, the decor is what you expect from Hard Rock.  Would you buy the whole place out?  The only complaint I had about our visit there, it's extremely loud insid, so if you are just going to be getting a table or two, you may want to take that into consideration.  Good luck with your decision!!
