Our proposal story is more funny than romantic....
We went to look at rings together and I sorta knew he had gone back to buy one, but I didn't know which ring or when I'd get it or anything like that... I kept asking day after day if the ring was here yet, and it seemed like it was taking FOREVER!! So, one Fridaywe had met in a city close to our works and were supposed to ride together to a city a little bit south of there for him to pick something up at some outdoors store... but the interstate was shut down because of a wreck, so we ended up staying where we were and went to dinner. Afterwards, we wound up going to Walmart next door to the restaurant (even though there is a Walmart less than a mile from my house. He said he had to get some duck stamps (no idea?) for hunting the next day.. so I wandered off on my own for awhile. We got back together and were looking for gag gifts for a christmas party, and he got a phone call from an unknown number. He answered and said Hello? Then he gets this funny look on his face and says "Oh, hey..." and I was like OMG It's them! It's the ring place! lol and it was.. So we HAD to go pick it up. The call was at 7:30, and the store was closing at 8. So, we went to get it and he proposed in the truck. lol I'm so impatient.. he had a whole big deal planned out, but the way I see it, it was meant to happen just like it did. Had we not been in a city close enough to get to the store in time and had the lady from the store not called when we were back together instead of split up, then it would have been an entirely different story.

Tell us your proposal story.
-We went to the Melting Pot and spent several hours just enjoying each other, good food and good wine.  We walked around Bridge Street.  We were standing in front of the fountain.  We asked if I wanted some change to "make a wish".  He reached into his pocket and he held the ring box.  He then made a little speech and asked me to marry him.

Tell us your proposal story.
Michael took me out on a date and we had a few drinks which quickly led to a good time full of laughs and we went back to our apartment and the next morning he was just looking at me smiling and all happy. So he asked me if I had a good night and I replied yes I did. So he went to his Army closet(a closet for all of his massive Army gear) and came back to the bed and said "So would this make a good morning?" and he was holding a ring and I was smiling and replied "YES!"
What is your favorite thing about Alabama?
I love the air!! Especially now because it's a crisp clean breath!

ROLL TIDE!!! THAT'S ON BOTH SIDES!! WE LOVE SABAN!!!
Now I respect Auburn fans but they aren't true winners!! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!

Tell us your proposal story. He pulled me to the bedroom alone (knowing I didn't want a big spectacle of it) & said "I want to show you something". Then, he opened up his leather notebook, and handed it to me. I read it- it was a note he had written to me, telling me how much he loves me and how he's a "fool for me". The last line- "Would you be willing to marry a fool like me?" I teared up a little & of course, I said yes!!  

What is your favorite thing about Alabama? I grew up here- its home to me. For him, I think its the fact that I'm here....otherwise, he probably would be long gone.
