Hello Ladies,

Congratulation to all!!!!  Have any of you been to a wedding reception at the Goodstay House in Wilmington or the Newark Country Club (Delaware)?

How was the food?  How was the service?  Did you enjoy the overall experience?

    I've been to business meetings at the Goodstay Center and they fed us... and the food was pretty good.  Haven't been to a wedding there, though. 

    There are a lot of ladies on here who generally have nothing but fabulous things to say about their venues.  I've been to DE weddings at the Brandywine Country Club, Cavalier Country Club, and the duPont Country Club.  All were fantastic.  I will say that when I called the Brandywine Country Club to inquire about packages, they were very cold to me.  I also called the Doubletree in North Wilmington, and those ladies were fabulous as well as Ed Oliver Golf Club. 

    In the end, I ended up booking with the Clarion Belle Hotel in New Castle.  My wedding is Saturday, but so far everything has been absolutely fantastic.  The food is amazing.
