Craft stores?

Ok, apparently the part of planning that is going to make me lose my mind is the escort cards.  Where is the best place to find rubber stamps and stamp pads?  I've only been to Michael's by the Christiana Mall and wasn't impressed with their selection.  And is there anywhere that will let you test the stamp pad colors?  And will it look awful if I hand write in the names and tables?  Because I don't have a printer at home and I think the cards I'm going to order on are individual anyway and probably couldn't go in a printer.

Thanks ladies! :)

Most of the weddings, if not all, that I have been to have had hand written escort cards.  Don't worry if that is what it comes to!

There are two other stores: AC Moore and JoAnn's.  Other than that, you might try looking into stationery stores, as they sometimes have supplies (call before you go in).

Hope that helps; it will all work out!

If you feel like taking a day trip, the Craft and Flower Warehouse in Blue Ball, Pa. is awesome. They've got a whole room dedicated to papercrafting and scrapbooking supplies.... I usually take an entire day to go up there. (and two paychecks...)

As for them being handwritten? I'm handwriting all of mine. I think it makes it that much more personal.

Check the DIY board.  They are great with these things.

I feel like there is some specialty store around here for that stuff.  I've only been to the Michaels in North Wilmington and the AC Moore on Kirkwood Highway.  Now I'm never looking for specific ink colors or anything, but the AC Moore seems to have a decent selection.  I know all the best yarn stores though! haha
