Perfume/Scents

I was just wondering what everyone's favorites were and if you were wearing it on your wedding day. I may even steal some ideas as I am looking for a new scent myself. I own alot of perfume and I feel like I've out grown alot of the ones I have.

Some of my faves are by Cacharel. Noa which I find to be fruity and powdery and Amor Amor which is vanilla-ry. I also love Mark Karmala which is earthy but very pretty and exotic.

I love Ralph Lauren Blue and I've gotten compliments on it a lot.  I wear it every day and so I probably will wear some at the wedding.  I don't want to smell completely different that day, your sense of smell is the strongest sense tied to memory so I'd like to be consistent :)

I'm so inconsistent with perfumes, I doubt I'll remember to even put some on the day-of.  I like a lot of the Ralph Lauren perfumes.  I usually wear Kimora Lee's Golden Goddess because its light, but you can still smell it.  I think I bought it 3-4 years ago and still have most of the bottle left!  That's how little I wear perfume!

DG Light Blue is nice for a wedding. My personal favorite is Theirry Mugler's Alien but it is a bit heavy for my June wedding. My closet is filled with Bath and Body Works but perfumewise, I bounce around.  Unless you plan on wearing it many times over, I would go to Boscovs (cheapest unless you order online) and try several.  If you get a nice clerk, she'll give you the tester sample which works perfect for those few days.  Saves $80!

I am a scent fanatic.  I would def go to to Sephora, see what you like and then ask for a sample in each scent.

Nice ones to check out (in no particular order):
    Bulgari Rose Essentiale
    Stella McCartney (sp?)
Fresh (check out the entire line)
LaVanilla (check out the entie line)
Philosophy, Falling in Love and Unconditional Love
    Vera Wang, Sheer Veil

Also, you may want to go to L'Occitane.  I find nice light scents there as well.

That's all I can think of now.  If something else comes to mind I will page you.

Just checked out your wedding bio..not only are our weddings one day apart (ours is 10/3/10), we both are using Belsoie for BM dresses!  You have wonderful taste:)

I have two favorites:  Ralph Lauren Romance and DKNY Be Delicious.  I also really like Shishido's Zen.  A few others that are decent are Clinique Happy (classic, can't go wrong with it), and VS's Sexy line.

I would have never thought to go for DKNY Be Delicious, but my sister got it for me for a Christmas present, and I love it.  It's so light, and has more of a fruit/crisp smell versus a floral smell.  And it's very light; FI doesn't like heavy smells and he likes this.  The other nice thing about it is it tends not to make other sneeze.  My grandmother is very sensitive to perfumes (and she's not the only one in my family), and sneezes like crazy when a heavy perfume is around.  DKNY doesn't cause that for her, which is nice.  Just a thought for when you are buying if you are going to be hugging and kissing alot of guests; some are bound to be sensitive.

Speaking of perfumes, I lovelovelove three scents on guys: Ralph Lauren Romance (for guys), VS's Sexy Squared (for guys) and Diesel.  OMG, when I smell either of them on FI, I want to jump him at that exact moment.  Yummmmmmmm...
