I'm doing ok, i've been super consumed with work and school and stressing about money and it's not fun. I think i need a list of things that need to be paid for...i'll google it later. Hope everyone has a good week

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. 

This has been a weird week for us.  We put an offer on a new house last night.  I've become emotionally attached to it.  The only problem is that the owner is also emotionally attached.  We offered $13k less than asking price (which honestly, is still more than other propertys are going for elsewhere then our lovely town such as Ankeny, Carlisle, etc.  NW central IA is pricey when you want some sort of land to go with it!) and are willing to go up another $5k max so we'll see if we can work something out. 

My other half leaves for a work trip on V-Day morning.  Happy V-Day to me.  And, he's gone for an extended period of time.  *sigh*  He has 2 trips to make before the wedding, for a total of 6-8 weeks between the two. 

I found a job I would be perfect at, I've held the position before.  Manpower has it listed on CL.  It is a temp to hire f.t. position.  I called yesterday and was told to forward my resume to Sara there.  So, I dropped a lot of money to have my resume updated.  Hopefully she will have it done before the end of the business day tomorrow so I can forward my resume off.  Please keep your fingers crossed for me.  This job would allow me to still bring home a paycheck after paying daycare for two.  And, is one I enjoy too. 

I've been moving all of the wedding stuff to the 2nd master suite in the basement of our current home, in anticipation of putting our house on the market.  It's amazing how much stuff I've moved and have left to move.  I've had it scattered between my home office and our formal dining room.  I had no clue how much stuff there is.  lol! 

My older son has a school program tonight.  I'm excited about that.  Last year, he just stood on stage, frozen in stage fright.   

I think I'm in a funk about my fiance leaving for an extended period.  I haven't been wanting to work on wedding stuff and I still have to line up a dj.  YIKES! 

The owner of the property/house we put an offer on asked for 24 hours, so we'll know by the time the program starts what his counter is.  *fingers crossed*

p.s.  Anyone wanna come out and help me move the rest of this wedding stuff?  LOL

So, no word on the counter yet.  I'm thinking positively.  The owner's original reaction to our offer was something along the lines that he'd go $3000 less than asking price and not a penny more.  But, then he paused and asked for 24 hours.  That has come and gone and nothing yet.  Maybe he's thinking hard.  ???  The property has been on the market for almost a year.  It's almost 7 acres, plus a house, plus a huge out building.  The husband was in an accident and can no longer help his wife take care of the property.  She wants to move into town and closer to work.  She works at the P.O. in DSM.  I don't blame her.  it is a lot of work to keep up a property that large.
