Because I am sleepless and we are close to Valentine's Day, I am posting a poll (sorry Medusia for not wait your Wednesday wrap up):

1. What are you planning for Valentine's?

2.Do you have already chose a gift for him? May we know what is it?

1. What are you planning for Valentine's?
Nothing I have to work so does FI.

2.Do you have already chose a gift for him? May we know what is it?
We decided because of the wedding we aren't going to do gifts, We will be going to a nice dinner

3.How many Valentine's have you spent together? Which one was the best?
This will be our 8th Valentine's day! 2 years ago we went on a little mini vacation for V-day. We went to the Mall of America and just hung out by the pool it was very nice.

4. Overall, what was your best Valentine's Day ever, and why (details pls!!)?
I would guess last year, FI gave me 3 dozen white roses, 2 dozen at my office and another when we went to dinner. It was sweet and just enough.

1. What are you planning for Valentine's?
I gave FI a set amount to spend on Valentines Day this year and told him he had to plan the whole thing.  I also told him the day had to include at least one thing we haven't done before, or we haven't done in a long time.  He was actually really excited for the challenge. 
2.Do you have already chose a gift for him? May we know what is it?
Since we are kind of on a budget right now, his gift this year is a bit old school.  I went and bought a box of valentines (the ones you hand out when you are a kid) and since Feb. 1st each day I write a reason why I love him on it.  I give them to him each morning at breakfast.  I'm also going to make him some valentines day cookies since he loves food.

3.How many Valentine's have you spent together? Which one was the best?
This will be our 4th one together.  Last year was pretty sweet.  We went out for dinner and got a great table back in a quiet corner of the restaurant without even making a reservation.
4. Overall, what was your best Valentine's Day ever, and why (details pls!!)?
Hmm.  I have never really been a huge fan of Valentines Day, and before being with FI I never dated anyone longer than 3 months, so I never got around to Valentines with anyone else.  I would probably say outside of the ones with FI, Valentines when I was younger with all the candy were the best.

1. What are you planning for Valentine's? I don't even have any plans yet!! I don't know if FI has anything up his sleeve.

2.Do you have already chose a gift for him? Not Yet! Geeese... time crunch!

3.How many Valentine's have you spent together? Which one was the best? Last years VDay was the best. We went to Minneapolis for a long weeend, stayed at a great hotel and was just soo relaxed. We spent a day at the spa and went to The Melting Pot for dinner. Wish we could do it again this year, but we are on a wedding budget.

1. What are you planning for Valentine's? We will have a very busy weekend starting on Friday's dinner with a couple of friends in The Melting Pot. On Saturday there is a couple's dinner at my son's church, on Sunday we got a gift certificate for an Odyssey cruise dinner and on Monday we will be in a romantic dinner organized by my church...yeah, I am having them all because in 2009 we were broken up and last year I was recovering from a surgery.

2.Do you have already chose a gift for him? May we know what is it? We
decided to buy to each other our wedding bands, so that's we are browsing for.

3.How many Valentine's have you spent together? Which one was the best? We are together (on and off) for about 5 and half years, but we just spent three Valentine's together. I think that them all  we've spent together had been great, but maybe this year, due to a lot of celebrations it will be better.

4. Overall, what was your best Valentine's Day ever, and why (details pls!!)? Well, my unforgettable Valentine's so far I've spent with my deceased husband. In Italy is " il giorno della festa degli innamorati". He made arrangements for a romantic dinner at Danielli's in Venice and proposed to me. He was also an Italian like me and loved arranging romantic surprises -  FI doesn't have a clue how to make surprises (sigh), but he is cute and I love him!!!
