Ok, I've decided that we are going to have the dinner at FI's parents house, it's where we are having the ceremony so, it makes the most sense to me. I've decided to do a baseball theme, it's one of FI's favorite sports and I like it too. I guess my question is, is that ok? I mean, i know that it's my rh dinner and I'd rather have it be a more relaxed feel but, is it ok? Also, we are going to make custom shirts for us. I'll have my maiden name with a 9 and he will have his with a 23 (9/23 is our wedding date). Also, who do you invite? all of the wedding party and their SI and parents/grandparents but, do you also invite oot guests?
Re: RH dinner?
We are only inviting the wedding party and their "Dates" plus parents. In our family situation, grandparents just gets a little sticky and I dont want to deal with it. Also, we didn't want to get too far out of hand with cost. I dont want to end up paying half of our wedding budget for the rehearsal dinner. Seems silly to me, but I guess if people have the money to spend more power to them. As far as oot people, totally up to you. Our oot people are only MO and NE, so that isn't too far. We aren't inviting them to ours, but I know a lot of people that do. Like I said, totally up to you and the size of the space you have.
For Invites, normally it's the WP, parents and if you want grandparents too.
You can invite OOT guests, but it's not necessary.
You could even make cute Baseball theme invites to tell everyone the time and place!

Wifey Shenanigans & Day Zero
You can invite whoever your little heart desires! We are inviting about 60 total including wedding party and their so's, immediate family with their spouses, those helping with the wedding ceremony (Priest, readers, gift bearers etc.) and finally those helping with the reception (host/hostess). Seem like a lot, but I come from a big family. We are not doing OOT guests since out list is already too big!
