Also, we are making Bride and Groom corn hole boards for our wedding reception, so he cut everything and I painted and then we assembled.

Hello! I attached some photos of what I was talking about--some people call the game bag toss too, but, as odd as it sounds, it's real name is corn hole, there is even an American Cornhole Association (www.playcornhole.org) where you can get the rules for scoring. We googled for plans on how to make the boards--there are a ton of options out there. They are VERY easy to make. We went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a few yards of duckcloth to make the bags and a farm supply story to get the corn to fill the bags with. The pictures below give you an idea of what they look like. We are keeping them simple--a black set and a white set and the bags will be black and white too. My mom does custom embroidery and I've considered having her put "bride" with a vail and "groom" with a tux outline on the bags to dress the up a bit.

We are excited about the boards, though. We love playing and usually travel with a set of boards. Our family and friends get into it and can be pretty competative. Since our wedding is outdoors and our reception is on the same grounds as the wedding, we thought this might be a nice segway between ceremony and reception/dinner while we finish up with some pictures.
