DOC??

I'm interested in having a DOC, but we are on a tight budget and can't really afford to spend much more than $500. I've tried to contact Ana Titus, but she hasn't returned my emails. The other ones I've gotten off the board here want over $1000. I really just want someone to make sure the vendors get there on time, etc. I don't really need help with planning the actual wedding per se. 

Any ideas?

Check out Events by Ellyn.  She's out of Cincy and charges an additional $100 for Columbus, but very reasonable prices...

Ana will get back with you shortly but she literally just had a baby. I would give it a week or so and then give her a call. She is affordable and definitely worth it! HTH

OP, i'm like 90% sure i'm going with bendora wedding gallery. i adore one of their planners, morgan, and their doc is 595. right now i'm contemplating stepping up to the 'wedding agent' package because i'm so impressed with them so far.

Thanks for all the advice! Belle, I had contacted Ellyn earlier, but now that business has grown, she said she no longer does Cbus weddings

I will give Heather a call. I haven't heard much about the Bendora Wedding Gallery. But I'll give them a call too.

Thanks for posting this! I was just curious about DOC's myself... I had found a lady that does 5 hours for $500.00 so I may go with her, but i'd be afraid I would go over 5 hours and be charged more. I e-mailed Heather from Event Elegant and she responded very quickly! She charges $795.00 but it looks like it includes quite a bit. She covers things that I was worried about (i.e. starting the music since we are not using "live" music), seating late guests, etc. I don't really want to pay that much, but it may be worth the stress-free day. We are having our wedding in a church and the reception is there as well... knowing me, I would want to be making sure everything was perfect, but I know I need to relax and enjoy the day. $795.00 or stress.... hmmmm....
