When to book alterations with Louise?

Hi, my dress is coming in April.  I was thinking of booking an alteration appt.  in July for my October wedding.   If I called in June would that be early enought or is she booked way ahead of time.  I just don't know what my schedule is going to look like yet!  I hear she's awesome so wanted to go with her.

I called her about 4 months before my wedding, and she had me wait until about 8 weeks prior. Then again, the alterations on my dress were pretty minimal AND I had expressed to her that I was trying to lose a few pounds, so I think those factors both went into that decision.

So, yeah, July sounds good. I don't think it'll be too late... but if it's too early... she'll likely just tell you that and schedule you for later.

Yeah I would just call and ask her.
I wasnt planning on loosing weight and had all my undergarments and shoes all set to go 8 months out so we started in Feb before my Oct wedding. I went in a total of 9 times too. But that is by NO means what you should or have to do. That was just me. I wanted to start early so I had more fittings. She doesn't charge by the hour or fittings so you can have as many as you want.

But say if you started in July you would have plenty of time I think but it just depends on your personality and how many fittings you want.

She is busier during the summer so I would recommend calling at least 2-3 weeks out and more like a month out if you have a pickier schedule.

I'd start calling her early.  I called in May-ish for my November wedding, just to find out when to book an appointment.  She asked me to call back in September to book.  I tried getting a hold of her for almost a month before I gave up.  She basically refused to talk to me when I'd call (don't answer the phone if you can't talk?) and just kept asking me to "call back later."

I eventually went with someone else about 3 weeks out, because I didn't feel comfortable waiting any longer.

Call her in the morning, too. She's not as busy.
It's probably slow season now but it will pick up in the next couple months.
