Hey  ladies,
I am going back and forth between Loring Pasta Bar and Pizza Luce for our rehearsal dinner, any reviews/thoughts/other ideas? Thanks!

Oooh, they both have awesome food, though I've never planned an event at either. I would say Loring because it's such a unique place, you wouldn't have to do any decorating. Plus, if you have out-of-town family or whatever that will be there, I think it's a neat piece of the city to show them.

I have been to the Loring just once- I remember it being really cool inside, and the food was good from what I can recall.  Slightly "fancier" than Luce, at least from the locations I have been to, so it would also depend what vibe you wanted.

one thing about Pizze Luce- their baked potato pizza is AMAZING! I want some right now!

I'd actually go with Pizza Luce.  I've been to the Loring Pasta Bar, and it was awful.  The food was okay, but there wasn't enough of it, and the service was absolutely awful.  It also made FI and I feel like we were too old and not cool enough to be there.

Both are great options! Both have amazing food... I agree, Loring Pasta Bar might have better space, but both are awesome!

PS. You are right, the baked potato pizza is un-real!!!

LORING. LORING. LORING.

They're catering our wedding and we just did our tasting last week. I am a foodie, so it takes a lot to make me happy. And lo, was I happy. I'm really pleased with the staff and the space seriously can't be beat.
