Can you PM me your wedding day timeline? I think I remember you had a 1 or 130 ceremony right? That's what we're having and I'd love to hear your advice about what to do for the gap.

Hi girl! I haven't been on TK much recently. Things are still beyond crazy.

Anyway, we did get married at 1pm. Our ceremony lasted until about 2pm and then we did pictures at the church with our parents and the rest of the WP. We did not do a first look. Our cocktail hour started about 3 or 3:30 and by that time we arrived at the reception venue. We did more pictures and dinner was served at 5:30 pm with salads coming out first. I wish we would have bumped dinner back a bit b/c it seems like after we did the cake cutting and first dances, most people left between 7:30-8pm. H and I were a bit disappointed, but maybe it was just our guests. We had the DJ until 10pm, so we partied with the family and friends that did stay.

thanks so much! so helpful. i have been toying with doing a swing dance lesson and the first dance set before dinner (since we're having a big band). glad to know that pushing dinner back could be a good plan.
