Based on some recommendations from this board, I contacted her back in September and was VERY underwhelmed. Her communication was lacking and she was 15 minutes late to our consultation meeting. She also promised to get me a quote within the week and never (ever!) responded to me. Needless to say, I booked another florist.

I agree with both of you, and also got a bad vibe from Jeni.  She was very unprofessional during the consultation, and I don't think she listened to a word I said.  I specifically asked for few to no roses in bouquets and centerpieces, and received a proposal with ALL roses.  We ended up booking with Hyacinth Events and are SO happy with our decision!

If you need a florist reccomendation I highly suggest Forget me not Floral and events!!!  Lisa is awesome!

I'm using MIchelle with Custom Floral & Design. She is out of Andover and is VERY comparable price wise with Lisa at Forget Me Not Floral (I met with her too). I had absolutely no idea what I wanted for flowers and literally speaking three sentences Michelle "developed" this extravagant bouqet! Good luck!

I'm also using Michelle from Custom Floral Design.  When we met with Michelle, we too, had no idea what we wanted and she helped us put together all the flowers.

If you still need someone, I signed with the company Zoe Blooms a small business. The owner is fabulous and so relaxing and easy to talk to. Good luck finding someone!

I was shocked to read the comments about Jeni at Simply Stated Elegance...I just loved Jeni and her prices came in way better than the other florists that I met with.  I know she often suggests ways that people can save money so maybe that came across wrong.  I do recall her mentioning that her father passed away recently so maybe that was it???
