Help with the knot ticker

Hi Fellow Knotties, 

I need help with the knot tickers... I know I should just follow the instruction on the countdown tickers on the knot page , but for some reasons, it's not working for me . I tried several times but i could n't go past where it says copy the link bla blah...Afer choosing everything, How do I make it appear in my posts .?
Can you please give me more help on this?

    On the left, under "community links" click "update signature." For some reason it's not coming up on my work computer, but I think there's a gray tab towards the top that says "update signature" then there's a box where you can copy and paste the ticker code.

    Did I miss anything?
