inexpensive but quality photographer in New Orleans

I've got about $1500 to spend on a wedding photographer. I know it's not much, but it's what I've got to work with. Any suggestions for not only inexpensive but also quality photographers? I don't need any prints, just want a disc with all the images, and can even do without the "getting ready" photos to cut down on time. Any direction would be appreciated.

I know Sabree Hill's packages start at $1290.  She shot our Rehearsal Dinner and also some of our engagement photos.  She has a journalism background and does great photojournalistic work.   And she's lovely to work with! (http://www.sabreehillphotography.com/)

You should try Belle Amour Photography. They do great work and have customized packages for budget brides. My friend got her wedding done - 4 hours of coverage and a disc with all the unedited proofs (which didn't look like they needed much editing if any, in my opinion) for somewhere in the ballpark of !,000-1,200. www.photographybybelleamour.com.

I was going to recommend Sabree Hill as well. We hired her to do our 9/29/12 wedding. I haven't gotten to see her work in person but she is nice and will work with your budget.

You should check out Chantilly Wedding Photogrphers! They are doing mine and have reasonable prices. Plus, their work is great!

Thanks so much! I'll check them all out for sure. I did see Sedar Hill, but didn't find them to capture many "moments" though their staged pictures were good. We're looking for someone who can truly capture the emotion of the day. Thanks again for the suggestions!

B&M Photography can customize a package to meet your needs. We are paying $2400 but have extras that we wanted like an additional location, photo book, prints, etc. I took my bridal portraits last weekend and they came out amazing!!!

We are using renaissance photography. The photographers name is Renada Rizzo. I located her by browsing websites and I loved her work. She is just starting on weddings, but you can check out her website. www.renaissancephotonola.com .
She starts at 900 for the 7 to 8 hours of coverage. Tell her Ashley told you ; )
