hair for African-American bride

Hi guys - Looking for any and all suggestions for a super reliable salon that I can test on my upcoming trip to NOLA (going in April for a bachelorette party and have some time to sneak in a few things).

I am African-American and have natural hair and will want it straightened for the wedding - the problem is I'm getting married at noon and this is typically a 3 hour process (at the minimum). 

I also have 6 bridesmaids of ALL varying ethnicities so I'm looking for someone who can do any and all hair types!

I think Tracy at Ringlets rocks.  She did so many heads of hair in 3 hours and they looked great (there were 9 of us).  I usually do a roller set, which takes 2 and half hours because my hair is thick, and there's a lot of it.  So I went to the salon the day before the wedding and got a roller set (and we did our trial), then I had nice hair for the rehearsal and the morning of the wedding she just had to freshen it up a bit.  I swear it took her less then 30 minutes to do my hair and place the headband.  And like you, I had bridesmaids of every shade :-)

I think egammo mentioned an alternative to Ringlets at some point, but I can't remember who.

She had an assistant with her who sort of prepped each girl, and then Tracy would do the styling.

You didn't ask, but since I had the same multi-racial needs for makeup, just figured I'd share :-)  The team of Artistry by Camille, did even more faces in the same amount of time and their pricing is extremely affordable.  They did an excellent job!

I would also suggest Ringletts as the other salon that I used to go to by the name of  Divine Appointment is no longer in operation.

I just got married on March 9th and I live in Los Angeles. I saw Lacee from Ringletts and she did a GREAT job. She came to my hotel and did my hair as well as my bridesmaids hair.
