Hi! My wedding is April 20th. I got my dress at David's Bridal and I was told by their seamstress that if I wanted it altered I would need to bring it in by next week (beginning of February). I really don't want to do it that early, because I'm of course working out and I want it to fit me like a glove for my wedding. Has anyone ever used a seamstress for their wedding dress who wasn't employed by the bridal salon where you got your dress? Did they do a great job? Would you recommend doing it at the bridal salon or by someone else?
