The Pros Entertainment?

Has anyone used the Pros Entertainment? They have a great package deal for a DJ, videographer, and photographer, and we are on a budget so they seem like a perfect choice.  But, I'm concerned their prices are too good to be true.  I am going to see one of their showcases in a few weeks, but I'm not sure if that will really help me decide.  Does anyone have any feedback on them?

The general concensus on this board is not to go with The Pros, but I have no personal experience with them.

I booked with them for all three. I got to choose and meet my DJ, Videographer and Photographer at one of their showcases. I've been to several weddings who had a DJ from The Pros and they've been great! I'm super excited about my photographer as well. I loved his portfolio and I talked to him for a good 45 minutes!

The problem with the pros is that you get who you get.  They are a lg company with multiple photographers and you get assigned one who meets with you right before the wedding to discuss your day.  I know of this one girl at work who used them and her wedding pics were HORRIBLE! They were dark and really generic looking.  That being said, I'm going to a wedding this weekend with a girl using them, so we'll have to see how hers turn out.  If wedding pics are of importance to you I wouldn't risk it

I thought about booking with them but I was concerned that the price was too good. I would recommend you look at their reviews on weddingwire.com
I looked at their lowest ratings and was in shock. The picture quality is awful and according to previous clients you don't always get the particular dj/photog you originally chose. HTH

I have friends who went with them and were severely disappointed (sorry PP!)  The price was great and they met with the guy prior, but then the day of it was someone completely different and he didn't get any shots that the bride had to quickly request to him.  Check out weddingwire.com.....you get a LOT of mixed reviews.

I've heard bad things about them as well :( Same complaits as a PP. My co-workers daughter was so unhappy with her wedding pictures and I've heard of others getting the run around until the day OF the wedding!

I was supposed to go to their showcase last night but ditched it to get a new phone...if they call or email me I'll kindly let them know I've found someone (which isn't entirely true. But I know I won't be using The Pros!)

Ditto! I had a friend and a coworker use them.  My friend got her wedding pictures and packed them in a box and put them in her attic.  She was very disappointed with them.  Her pictures are not good, like someone else said very generic and low quality.  The photographer didn't take the pictures/poses that she wanted.  I hate to say this, they were awful and a little boring to look at.   I was at the wedding and the dj wasn't bad, not great but okay.  I didn't see her wedding video but she said it wasn't bad.

My coworker's photos were a little more creative.  They weren't as bad as my friends but the quality of them was the same; not good.  They had some decent shots, however, he said that his wife basically directed the photographer with taking the different poses, scenes, etc through out the day.  But like I said the quality is not good.  I want to say that they were suppose to have a certain photographer and they promised them during the entire wedding planning process but someone else showed up on that day.  I wasn't at the wedding but he said the DJ was okay.

So basically..... don't use them for photography!

Thanks for all of your help everyone! Do you have any suggestions for DJs, Photographers, and Videographers who are good, but affordable?
