Save the Dates?

We are having our wedding down the Inner Harbor and probably will take our E-pics there.  I thought it would be neat to have a Baltimore theme for the save the date cards.  However, I have googled my fingers off trying to find something like this. I have seen New York and Vegas... but no Baltimore.  I would love to have a Baltimore skyline, etc. Does anyone know a place that has baltimore theme save the dates?  Also, how many months should the save the date cards go out?

Have you thought of finding a designer to design something for you? We found a designer on etsy to desgin our STDs and we printed them on vistaprint. It was very reasonable and a lot less than going through a traditional invitation company. We sent our STDs about six and a half months before our wedding.

I haven't seen any pre-made B'more-themed save the dates, but I agree with Taracy - you could get a designer to draw the B'more skyline from a photo and use that image on the cards, or if you want something even easier, just use one of your e-pics from the Harbor with a good shot of the city in background.  Or how about a B'more icon?  You could use a little raven or a crab, although I think crabs are more of a general Maryland motif rather than B'more specifically.  Or maybe the the Natty Boh man and Utz girl (that's what we're doing for ours - my FI, who is a designer, is at the letterpress studio as we speak going over the details!)  As for sending them out, I think generally they go out about 6 months before the wedding.  :)

http://www.city-data.com/forum/baltimore/140993-baltimore-skyline-photos.htmllovely baltimore skyline pictures  you can save and upload them on a magnet on vista print. This was my plan but my wedding is in columbia and i thought it might be confusin and poeple would book hotels in the inner harbor. As afar as STD there is not stnadard  time . some poeple say a year if it is a popular travel weekend. My wedding is in April I am sending mine out in October/ November because i want to wait until after my FSIL wedding , yet i want to give the people who have to put time off at the start of teh year plenty of time.

You can design your own at Magnet Street.  If you sign up for their elist, you can get coupons.  We just bought 75 magnets (the bigger size, not the biz card size) for $103.  Our wedding is 10-10-10 and we're sending them out this month because 2/3 of the guests have to travel and make arrangements for that and their kids.  It's also a holiday weekend in NY, so we want to make sure families aren't planning any weekend getaways!  If they do, it's to MD.
