Jilly's cupcakes

Has anyone been to a wedding that had Jilly's cupcakes for the wedding cake.  My fiance and I love Jilly's and we want them to do our wedding.  I just want to know if anyone had experience with them for a wedding.
I know the cupcakery is good too and we might try them, but we are so fond of Jilly's that we might go with them.

I personally had a TERRIBLE experience with Jilly's for a party once. They were SO rude! I would rather make them from scratch (and I can't bake) before I went back to that place. In my opinion, when you're spending $5.25 per cupcake, if I request individual containers I shouldn't be charged an additional $1 per cupcake! That was just the beginning of their rudeness!

Oh no! That's really bad, and now I am really worried.  Maybe I should check out other cupcake places.  Anyone have an idea?

Yes! You have to check out babycakes. Jaclyn is amazing and will pretty much do any flavor you can think of. She is $2 a cupcake and will not rake you over the coals for everything else. her website is http://babycakes-1.com. We are doing cupcakes and then having a 6" round on the top. I tried tons of cupcakes and hers were by far the best, even better than Jilly's!

I agree, Baby Cakes or Cupcakery. (may have spelled that wrong). Not sure on the later's prices, but both are yummers! Just stay FAR AWAY from Jilly's... and you can't tell me it costs even close to $5.25+ for a stinking cupcake! I understand they're in the business to make money, but if you're going to charge those prices, just don't be rude as the icing on the cupcake so to speak... :)

I second the Cupcakery rec- we had them at a bridal shower for a friend and they were AMAZING to work with- they even did an out of season seasonal flavor that is her favorite.

Russell's in Fenton is phenomonal. Fun flavors available, multiple sizes, and better tasting cake and frosting than the Cupcakery. Plus it's a cute mom and pop place so there's room for negotiation and a TON of great customer service. They really care.
Which did you like better? "Jedi" or "The Empire Strikes Back"? "Empire". Blasphemy. "Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

Try Hollyberry Baking.  They have fabulous gooey butter cupcakes as well as specialty cupcakes that are to die for!  Super people to work with, too.

I second Jilly's not working out the best.  My mom called them this week for some fancy desserts for our engagement party to supliment the cookies and mini cupcakes for the party.  We saw these amazing little petit fours at the Chase Bridal Show, and told her thats what we wanted.  We gave her the colors, iris purple, sliver and white. She told us they were $2 dollars a peice which my mom thought was rediculous, but she really wanted them, so only ordered 24. And the women knew my mom was already having mini cupcakes, so we wanted something different.  My mom went to pick them up, and they were just mini cupcakes with baby blue icing! Totally not what we ordered.  Although they were delcious, my sister who made the rest of the mini cupcakes were much better!  I know there cupcakes are to die for, I think there customer service is less then that!

We did a tasting from the Cupcakery this weekend and they were AMAZING.  I am very glad that you guys advised me against Jilly's.  I know we will be very happy with the cupcakes from the cupcakery.  Thanks for the advice!!!
