Has anyone had their wedding at Assumption in St. Clair Shores, MI. I read good reviews about it, but was just hoping for some more feedback on the food, venue, location, etc.

That is my church! I am getting married there, but having the reception somewhere else. I have heard fantastic reviews on the food. I have been in the banquet room for social events, but never a wedding. I am sure they would do a great job.

We just had my bridal shower there last Saturday - the food was AMAZING!   I wish we were having our wedding there now since the food was so good.  I heard they have Italian buffet night during the week that is a good opp to sample their food.  We had chicken piccata, beef roll-ups called spedini, bowtie pasta with marinara and a salad with cherries on it.  The service was also excellent and my mom said that the people who run the catering are very nice and accomodating.  Enjoy!

I put my deposit down with Marchiori Catering/Assumption Center in October! Great people and I've heard nothing but great things about the food! I'm getting married August 2, 2014. Can't wait!! :
