Seating Chart Scroll

Hello Ladies!

Anyone have any leads on where to get a seating chart scroll? This is one thing I'm kind of lost about. Do I hire someone to do it, or do I make it on a word document and then send it to kinko's to print super big?

I'm afraid that if I do it myself in a word document then get it enlarged, it will look blurred. I'm just not sure how else to go about it.

Any ideas?

I am not sure what you mean by scroll exactly but as far as the dimensions are concerned, just change your paper size to be the sizes you want.  That way the image won't be distorted since you don't have to enlarge the image.

Oh I'm sorry, that's just what they call those big poster sized seating boards that are in frames. They are instead of using seating place cards. They list everyones names and what table they're at. It usually has a fancy monogram or something at the top. Then they are in a big frame and placed on a fancy easle or something.

So, we can't print it ourself because we don't have a poster sized printer! ha

OH yeah, sorry.  I designed one in Publisher and it was really easy once you get the hang of it.  Just keep moving the text boxes around until you get it write.  Then you can print it at a local print shop/Kinkos.  I think it's around $40-50 to print it at Kinkos but you can call around and check prices.

For common poster sizes under the "Features and Sizes" tab:

My florist (Silk Thumb in Southgate) is doing mine for me. Did you ask your DOC or florist if maybe they did something like that?

My invites lady did mine. She charges $175. I was not about to tackle that myself.

I know that my cousin created one in Microsoft Word and had it blown up at Kinko's and it looked fine.  It didn't look blurry at all.  She said it cost her around $30 to have it blown up but it was black and white only.

I think I'll attempt to make my own and see how it goes!

My sis-in-law had Kinkos make it for her...they did the whole thing she just had to type out the guests names...it came out awesome...!! I think she paid about $100.00 for it to be completely done by them.
