Ceremony Spots

We are having our reception at Laurel Manor in Livonia, but still do not have  ceremony spot.  We don't want something too far away....his mom wants her church, but it is on the eastside and that is too far to travel.  We would prefer a church, but we aren't sure if we have to belong to one to get married there.  We live in Auburn Hills, so we really can't join a church out there.  Any help or suggestions would be great!! :)

Re: Ceremony Spots

  • Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit. We just got married there in October, you don't have to be a member. Not to mention its BEAUTIFUL. Downside is you do have to pay $1250 to get married there, which is more than most churches. Regardless, very easy access to Livonia from there! http://bscweddings.com/

</div><div>Was it a process to secure the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacarament in Detroit for your wedding?  Seems like there are a lot of hoops to go through. It's a STUNNING church and would love to look into it but all the information about having a wedding there is a slight deterrent. Let me know! THANK YOU! </div>
  • How many people? We were married at the chapel at Greenmead Village in Livonia (8 Mile & Newburgh Rd intersection). It has a max capacity of 100. My husband was a resident of Livonia, so I don't know what the non-resident rate is.

If you go to my bio link below, and click on it, our website comes up. There's another link for photos, and there are photos from our wedding.

This Village also has lovely gardens for pictures.
  • We are inviting 250 so we need something larger.  I have been to a wedding at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament and it is amazing, but a little pricey and far...we really want something in Plymouth, Livonia, Canton area.  Does anyone know of something in that area that is similar to the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  I really love that look.  Thanks for the input ladies!! Smile
