H&H Photography

Hi-  I am a Staten Island/New Jersey girl and this is my first time on the Hudson Valley board.  Was wondering though if anyone has heard of or used H&H Photography based out of Irvington, NY.  We recently met with them and they seemed to offer a lot for the money and the albums they showed us were really nice.  I haven't heard much about them, nor has anyone on the Jersey board so figured I would check here. Any information on them would be greatly appreciated.

Lauren...I've worked with H&H in the past and their work is great. 2 of my co-workers have used them for their weddings and I'll be using them in November for my wedding. However, I wouldn't discourage you from meeting with other photographers...but I highly recommend them.

I'm also using H&H for my wedding in April. Larry is great to work with and gave us a great price. Also, our engagement pictures came out amazing! I agree with bella though, def check out others to compare work and prices, I did.

we also booked them for our november wedding,. our engagement pix came out really well and they are super helpful with budgeting.

Thanks for the info.  I met with a couple of other photographers and they were significantly more expensive and their quality of work was on par with H&H.  Definitely seems like H&H gives you the most for your money.

I was about to book with someone else but now I'm really interested in H & H photography.  What do their packages range from in price? I wanted to know if their prices really did match the great pics I saw on their website.

I don't have my sheets on me, but I think their packages started at $3.000 not including video or parents albums.  The video I think was $1,900 for edited and $1,100 for unedited.  They were very reasonably priced especially in comparison to the other photographers I met, and definitely willing to negotiate on price.

I booked in 2009, so the prices may be different now, but we got a great deal w/ a photagher & assistant, an album, 2 parent albums, some loose photos, 8 or 10 hours of shooting (all day basically), engagement shoot w/dvd all for 3500. To be honest, Christopher's Studio gave about the same for a similar price but I wasn't loving the guy (was a little flakey and made me nervous about keeping things straight). Also, H&H has a bunch of different photographers and Larry will match you up with one that has a style you like/want for your wedding.
