The Rhinecliff

Has anyone had a reception at The Rhinecliif? We're considering this location (along with The Highlands and The Garrison) but are looking for some real feedback since I can't find much on the web.  If you did have your reception there, how many guests did you have? They told us they can accomodate up to 250 but from what I remember about the space, it seems too small for that.

my future in laws were just at a wedding there last month.  we also looked at it as a possible place for our 2012 wedding.  it's a really cute place, however, it was very small.  fmil said that they were seated RIGHT next to speakers, and so were a lot of other people. it seemed unavoidable.  we ended up booking at the grandview one because it was a larger room and two, the pok-grand hotel rates were much more reasonable.  where as the rhinecliff was asking for $300 a night.  i couldnt ask my oot guests to drop that much $$.  oh and they only have a limited amount for rooms so half of the guests wouldn't even be able to stay there.  hope this helps.  gl
