New to the board -- help btwn 2 venues: NY Bot Gardens and Tappan Hill

Hello all,
I am trying to decide between 2 venues both the same caterer: Tappan Hill vs NY Botanical Gardens.  Both are gorgeous and have pros and cons.  If anyone has been to a wedding at either; any suggestions or Pros and Cons would be much appreciated.  My biggest con with NY bot gardens is the location and where to have my guests stay (the middle of the Bronx is not ideal).  Any and all info is welcome.  Thank you all in advance! :)

    I checked out Tappan Hill & the views are beautiful. My parents had their wedding there years ago so my mom really wanted me to look at it. The hall itself is very pretty (LOVEEE THE ENTRY WAY) but it was a little too "vintage" looking for what I wanted.

    NY Botanical Gardens (in the Bronx) was also on my list but we found our hall before we had our appointment there. Many of my friends have had their weddings at Marina Del Rey in the Bronx & used the Rye Town Hilton or Radisson in New Rochelle as their OOT hotel. The drive isn't too bad & I assume you'll have shuttle service for your guests staying at the hotel. Maybe call NY Bot. Gardens and see who they recommend.

    I was moh in a wedding at Tappan Hill this summer.  It was perfection.  The space was so charming with a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony.  The bride's pictures in the entranceway are to die for.  I loved the cocktail hour in that long room.  The staff were helpful with everything (right down to finding us safety pins for a bridesmaid dress mishap).
