What is a customary tip for a photographer? Is it a standard rate of $50/$100 or a % of the total package cost?
We recently upgraded our package (major spurge) to include a second shooter for 6 hours. We have our photographer (owner-operated studio) for 11 hours. Originally, we were going to bring some wine to our original photographer at our album premiere, but now that we have an "employee" we feel we should give a cash tip the night of the wedding. Is it odd to just tip the one and not the other?
Thank you!

haha i remember that- totally normal! Everything will be perfect :)
We gave $100 to our main photographer $50 to the assistant and $50 to the videographer. It was all through the same company. It was owned by the photographer, so I know I didn't have to tip. But through the planning of the wedding, I knew I wanted to. And since I knew I had to tip the "workers" of his company (asst and video) I figured (at that time) it would be the right thing to do to give him a tip as well.
(We gave the tips individually to each person)
Terri- thank you. I'm going to copy your tipping like I copied your favors
