I recently got married and am trying to be pragmatic...so I'm selling my wedding dress! I had a beautiful wedding and hope that the next owner will enjoy this dress as much as I did.
I bought my dress in Paris (I had my wedding in France) and fell in love with it because it has elegant lines, is easy to wear and...reminded me of Audrey Hepburn! I particularly liked the beading on the sides of the bust that go on to the back, the open back making a beautiful neck line, the buttons on the back running all the way and the beaded belt. The dress is made of sturdy silk which helped keep the shape of the dress throughout the wedding.
I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned (for almost USD300) at a reputable dry-cleaner in NYC. The beads are made of a variety of different materials and I was warned to go to a specialist to make sure the cleaning was done properly. While I am attached to it, I am selling the dress because it's a shame that it is only worn once and I know it would make someone else's day special. During the wedding and after, I got a million compliments and I think it was due in large part to the dress...I felt like a princess!
Since I bought the dress in France, the size was 38 and then it was taken in. I think this corresponds to a 6 or 4, depending on the brand in the US. If you'd like the shoes too, we can talk about it. I am a 7-7.5
