Videographer recommendations?

I haven't looked much into video for my wedding yet. But from the little bit of research I've done, I've found one style I really like. There are some videographers who shoot wedding video more like a film. They unobtrusively capture the moments of the wedding. And no special effects or funky transitions on the DVDs. I definitely want someone who will also be unobtrusive, and simply capture the day. I hate being at a wedding where the video guy is telling people to do something again and stage an otherwise natural event. I realize they want to capture everything they can, but I'd rather they miss something than be in everyone's way.

Anyone have a videographer they can recommend! I'd really appreciate it! I'm in lower Westchester, so anyone from Hudson Valley, CT or NYC. Thanks!

    We had Majestic Studios as our photograher and they did our video as well. For both services they did a great job.

    My sister used Best of Times for her video and it's awesome!

    Digital Weddings also does photo and video. (If we didn't go with Majestic we would have booked them)

    And Halo Video gets mentioned here quite a bit.

    Off the top of my head I can't think of anymore, but hope this helps!

    I can't see the video you posted (damn work restrictions) but they do very unobtrusive type videos, it's worth a look!

    Jen on here gave them great reviews and I just booked them for my 9/2011 wedding as well!

    Your Cinematic Wedding is based in NJ (Hackensack, I think). But he traveled to Orange County for my wedding, no problem.

    I cant find to remove my pregnancy ticker....poop I lost our twins at 9 weeks and God this ticker is a painful remider of where I would be.

    mommy- oh no! go to the main chat page, and click edit profile,  in the signature box the link should be there.  I know in the bump, knot and nest, they are all different and sometimes carry over but sometimes not. *hugs*

    I'm using Elliot Lobell.  He's a talented student at SUNY Purchase.  He offers a good price and offers HD at a reasonable cost
