Topsfield Commons - Cocktail Hour

We are getting married at the Topsfield Commons in May.  I am curious to know what you have, or are planning to do for cocktail hour.  We are planning to only having the cheese/crackers/fruit table.... but i'm wondering if this is enough? Do we also need to add the passed hor dourvers?  Thoughts??

We chose to do passed vs. stationary.  Our wedding is at 2pm on a Sunday and cocktail hour will be 230-330 followed by reception 330-7pm. We liked the passed options, and I even created one (grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters), plus we figured people will be hungry as they probably had a late breakfast based the time of our wedding.  I also just like the idea of passed.  Its funny, we never even thought about stationary only - we just considered adding a stationary to passed but figured we already have a lot of food.
Our wedding is 11/21 so I'll post reviews afterwards.

We may also skip passed and have fruit, cheese, vegetables and maybe one or 2 more stationary options.  The last few weddings we have been to nobody really took the passed options and just concentrated on the stationary.  We also noticed that some just were missed by the wait staff.

My wedding wasn't at the Commons but I can speak from experience and say that people mobbed the waitstaff at my cocktail hour. We had 3 stationary displays and 5 passed apps and our guests loved the passed apps so much that the waitstaff couldn't even make it through to our guests on the first try.

And from my past guest experience, I love cocktailhour and usually love the passed apps so I'd say go with both to please your guests.

I'm not getting married there either but I've been to one wedding where there was no passed and guests took notice. We are doing both passed and stationary.
