How to Clear an Ipod?

A friend of mine has acquired a second ipod and is lending us her old one to play our reception playlists off of.  However she wasn't sure how to clear all the songs of it first.  Does anyone know if this can be done?  It isn't 100% necessary, but I'd feel more comfy if just the one playlist was on the ipod and nothing else.  TIA!

1. Plug in your iPod and open iTunes
2. Once iTunes recognizes it, look under DEVICES on the menu and select Music.
3. Select Edit />Select All /> Delete

That will clear your iPod.

If that doesn't work, you can always bring it into an Apple store too and they'll reset it for you...GL!
