chuppah?

Hey girls,

Any recommendations for vendors?  I am envisioning something pretty simple...probably a wooden structure with some flowers or vines around the edges.  I've also heard that some florists can do this too?  Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I rented my chuppah from Designing Images in Randolph.  Expensive, but IMO, totally worth it.  Your entire ceremony takes place under it, so it's in tons of pics.

My florist... Mugford's Flower Shop is renting us a wooden chuppah for $100. This includes 4 birch poles and the fabric on top.

We are planning on having her wrap curly willow and more birch around the all ready standing poles and then integrating fall leaves within the willow to create a fall tree effect.

To be honest, I was shocked to hear that her cost was so low but she said it was because she already had the chuppah and the birch was so cheap and easy to find. I bet she could integrate some flowers and greenery fairly easily and cheaply.

I was thinking of having a ceremony structure similar to a chuppah and my planner recommended Kelly the Bridesmaid.

I tried to find chuppah rental companies but didn't really like what I found.  Our florist ended up making ours.  PP is right, your chuppah is in a lot of pictures so it is a good important to make sure that you like it!  Here is the picture of the chuppah that our florist created for us.

I just sold mine to my florist-Suzanne Bellanger/Bella Floral, so she now offers the option and we LOVED working with her.
