Gore Place

Has anyone attended or had a wedding at Gore Place? My fiance and I looked at it and have a few questions/concerns about the noise and appearance of the grounds. Also, wanted to know what caterers people may have used. Thanks!

    I haven't been to an event there, but we did look at it for our wedding. When we went we were told that the Caterered Affair was their exclusive cater and they were really expensive. Though we did talk to East Coast Grill (who is catering our wedding, they're awesome) and they said they can do events there as well. We decided to have our wedding at the Pierce House in Lincoln instead (not too far away) there's also the Codman Estate in Lincoln as well. They both have a very similar feel. We went with the Pierce House since we liked the look of the house better and everything was much more centrally located (tent is set up right next to the house), which would make things easier if it rains (crossing fingers).

    I am getting married this summer at The Habitat in Belmont. Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary- Saturday weddings for $2800 for 5 hours.
