• I'm huge on texture and foods.  I can't even look at grits without gagging.  I don't do oatmeal either, adamar!

• Well oatmeal is just nasty, but grits are delicious. Totally different textures IMO.
• Hey! Don't write me off for a margarita GTG! I might not be able to imbibe, but I can sniff y'alls margarita fumes. And have a virgin daquiri. Nom.
• Thanks for rubbing that in, Manda!

But I'd totally pay again to see large men throwing stuff. I don't think it will ever get old.

• Oh they're most definitely different textures.  And both are gross IMO.

Oh, Fish. You need to have me fix you some. Stone Ground Speckled Heart Grits straight from Callaway Gardens. Super creamy and cheesy.

A low country dish adds shrimp and bacon drippings (and sometimes bacon) to the dish for shrimp and grits. Heaven in a bowl. Well either is.

I did this to myself last time. I'm ordering some right now.

PS - NEVER make your judgment about grits on instant ones, or ones really in a diner.

• If it isn't warm by effing JUNE I am moving to MAUI.

Actually, um, Mr Panda's company got some good feedback on the Arizona deal yesterday. So. We could be moving to Tucson by the Fall. Which would be happy sad. For obvious reasons.
Manda/Anna -- Maybe we can do margaritas at Banana Cafe at Eastern Market and then actual go to the market. That would be a good GTG. Maybe in early June? If it's warm then*** *** if it isn't warm by then I'm moving to Florida.
Posted by cfaszews25
I'm already booked up for June I think. Well Maybe not quite, I'm not sure. May or June could happen though. Plus I'm ALL about GTGs in my neighborhood :)

And I'm trying to move to Florida ASAP anyway, regardless of when it gets warm.

And Manda, I've never been to Arizona but I work with some people from there and they all seem to like it a lot.
• I have no opinion on grits. Never tried 'em.

• Um...why don't you kids want to move to Mississippi? Oh wait.. you can drown in our humidity. Nevermind =(
• LDY we have lots and lots of humidity here too. Steam bath worthy sometimes. Good stuff.

• I have weddings Memorial Day weekend and June 11 and my b-party the 18th. So maybe not as booked up as I thought. It was just really hard to find a date for my b-party so I FELT more busy and important than I actually was. April 23rd and May 7th are great, and I will petition for April 16th because my FI will be out of town and I need entertainment.
• Good morning, everyone!

I've never had grits, but I'd be willing to try them if I trusted anyone to cook them.

Our washing machine broke last week.  FI tried to fix it, but it is completely useless now.  Sigh.  A new washing machine was not in the budget.
• Good morning! My coffee is finally starting to kick in.

I usually fall for April Fool's Day pranks, because I never think about the date. This year I'm prepared. I hope H doesn't realize what today is, because he will think it's HILARIOUS to tell his mom I'm pregnant or something.
